Maintenance Services

Basic Annual Maintenance
Telephonic, fax, and e-mail technical support during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm PST. Additionally, all new releases of purchased products are free during the annual maintenance period. This includes both major and minor releases.

Premier Annual Maintenance
Includes all of the benefits of Basic Annual Maintenance plus 24 hour a day, 7 day a week telephonic technical support.

Product Patches & Product Upgrades without Maintenance Agreements
Minor releases of the products, designed primarily to fix a customer identified problem, are free. Major releases of the products have an upgrade charge associated with them if no maintenance agreement with the customer is in place.

Initial Training Courses
Alert Technologies currently provides the following two levels of initial training for new OpsCenter customers.

OpsCenter Training
This training is highly customized to specific emergency response organizations. The curriculum is intended to get an organization functioning quickly with OpsCenter.

The training includes:

  • OpsCenter Concepts
  • Administering OpsCenter
  • Train the Trainer

All of these topics are customized for each target organization. The customization will take into consideration the knowledge level of the trainees and the unique considerations of the implementation.

Getting-Started with OpsCenter
In addition to the trainer-led classes, a single "Getting-Started" presentation will be prepared that will serve as a self-paced training module for part-time users.


Advanced Training Courses
After users have gained experience with OpsCenter, and as more knowledge of the organizations specific requirements is gained and more resources are available, Alert provides these additional courses specifically designed for experienced users:

Administrator Training
This course is designed for individuals who are responsible for the implementation and administration of Alert Technologies' applications. Students learn the features and capabilities of Alert Technologies' products, and the procedures required in maintaining and configuring the applications.

Advanced End-User Training
This course is designed for individuals who will be working with a fully implemented OpsCenter system and want to advance their knowledge of the product.
